The Sony Music Africa recording artist, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, also known as AKA, was shot and killed in KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.
Apparently, some major sources, South Africa’s IOL website reports that the night of February 10, 2023, AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant with friends, having a little conversation, and the two unknown cars appeared and opened fire on him.
It has been confirmed that his bodyguard was wounded and his friend was also gunned down.
The rapper was just 35, and he was set to perform at Durban night club, YUGO, as part of his birthday celebrations, ’cause he was about to turn 36 on February 28 this year.
His family confirmed his passing, and wrote this on the rapper’s Instagram page..

Fans say, it’s not better to post locations on social media, that’s NOT clever, that it’s believed the rapper was used to doing this and it’s all ended up in this tragedy.
